Programme Quick Facts
Three Modules. 360 Total Credits.
The BSc Professional Accountancy is a 360-credit degree. You receive 240 credits through Recognised Prior Learning from your ACCA exams (equivalent to FHEQ Levels 4–6), then complete three compulsory Level 6 modules (120 credits) delivered at Blackstone as a Recognised Teaching Centre.
Financial Management (PR3010)
Prepares you for the role of a finance manager, covering capital management, investment evaluation, funding options, business valuation, and risk management. Completing this module grants exemption from the ACCA Financial Management (FM) exam at no additional cost.
Performance Management (PR3020)
Focuses on advanced management accounting, performance evaluation, budgeting, variance analysis, the Balanced Scorecard, divisional performance, transfer pricing, and sustainability and ethics in performance management. Completing this module grants exemption from the ACCA Performance Management (PM) exam at no additional cost.
Project (PR3030)
Independent research project on a chosen topic in the accounting field, developing academic, analytical, and practical research skills. Taught over two study sessions with 100% coursework-based assessment (written submission).

All learning materials are provided through the University of London's Virtual Learning Environment — no additional textbooks needed. Subscription to the ACCA Study Hub is required.

ACCA Exam Exemptions
Completing the Financial Management and Performance Management modules provides exemptions against the equivalent ACCA exams — at no additional cost to you.
Each 30-credit module runs over a 16-week study block followed by an online proctored exam. The 60-credit Project module spans two sessions. You can study full-time or part-time, adjusting the intensity to suit your needs.
Assessment Methods
All examinations are delivered online and proctored remotely. Coursework is submitted directly via the University of London Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

Remote Proctoring & Academic Integrity
To ensure the rigorous academic standards of the University of London, online written exams are closed-book and monitored remotely using:

Eligibility & Prior Learning
To register for the BSc Professional Accountancy, you must meet the following requirements verified by the University of London and ACCA:
Age Requirement: At least 17 years old by the registration deadline of your enrolment session.
ACCA Good Standing: No outstanding debt, legal, or disciplinary flags on your ACCA account. ACCA's decision on eligibility is final.
Recognised Prior Learning (240 Credits): Passed or gained exemptions for all Applied Knowledge exams (BT, MA, FA) and Corporate and Business Law (LW).
Must Pass directly with ACCA: Financial Reporting (FR), Taxation (TX), and Audit and Assurance (AA) exams must be passed directly with ACCA. If you have exemptions for these papers, you must forfeit them and pass the exams with ACCA.
Time Limit: From the start date of when you begin the BSc programme, no more than five years must have passed since the achievement of your FR, TX, or AA passes.
Active ACCA Subscription: Students are expected to maintain an active ACCA student subscription in good standing throughout their studies.
